As a direct result of the fighting in Libya and the unrest in the Middle East gas price continue to rise at an alarming rate, and analysts don’t see an end anytime soon. Gas is on the rise according to the motorist group AAA. The national average for a single gallon price has risen six tenths of a cent.

Gas prices have continued to increase daily as the turmoil continues in Libya and has done so for the last 13 days at a cost of .34c a gallon. California drivers are bearing the brunt of this pricing; they are paying $3.897 a gallon while motorists in Alaska and Hawaii are paying $3.80 a gallon. If you reside in Montana you are paying somewhere around $3.189 a gallon and at this point it seems as though it is the lowest in the nation.
