Mass Casualties Reported After Plane Slams Into Fire Truck at LaGuardia

An Air Canada Express CRJ-900 regional jet, operated by Jazz Aviation, struck a fire truck on Runway 4 at New York’s LaGuardia Airport. The collision happened in foggy, wet conditions during taxiing.

The impact lifted the aircraft’s nose and caused heavy frontal damage. Fire department officials declared a mass casualty incident.
